Meet Clay and his family!
Clay Lohse, family nurse practitioner, owner and operator of Big Country Mobile Med, is a native born Abileneian. His wife, Jayna, is a proud Hawley-ite and together they have two wonderful boys, Heath (oldest) and Hayden (youngest).
Clay is the original “Mobile Med Man” in the area as many called him. He played an instrumental and vital part of making Abilene Mobile Med the success it became in 2020-2021 due to his business sense, outgoing personality, uncompromising standards for customer service/experience, and most importantly, the relationships he cared to cultivate with his clients made the business very special. After unfortunate circumstances, he branched off to start Big Country Mobile Med in 2021 where he looks forward to serving the Big Country likely hopefully for the rest of his career!
Clay has many passions in life. In short, he is a “people person” and absolutely loves meeting new people, networking, and cultivating friendships. He loves his family and tries to live intentionally, making wonderful memories with his family and friends. He loves fishing and teaching others how to fish. Music and guitar playing have always been a part of his life as well as projects and tinkering in a shop with wood, metal, and even airbrushing.
Clay loves business and good ‘ol fashion customer service that most medical places just don’t seem to value these days. Clay values old school customer service, customer experience, showing up on time-every time, building a relationship with his clients, and ultimately, the guy just cares. It’s not uncommon to get a follow up text 24-48 hours after he takes care of his clients to make sure they are doing better and eagerly lend assistance if anything is needed during that follow up text. There aren’t many around that practice business and medicine with that sort of heart. These qualities are truly what set his business apart from any competition that may come into the Big Country.
